Officer's Medal:
The Officer's Medal is the highest award you may receive whilst a LMPD Officer. Reserved for the bravest acts while on duty.

Exceptional Merit:
The Exceptional Merit is given out to an officer selected by the department head.

Exemplary Officer Service Award: 

This award is given to an officer after achieving the rank of Lieutenant, gaining 10 Months of service and all of the base certifications.

Distinguished Service Medal:

This award is given to officers who show constant professionalism on duty.
Officer must be over the rank of corporal to be eligble. 

Unit Citation For Valorous Conduct:
This award is given to officers with 150 Logged Reports.
Only Patrol Reports count towards this medal.*

This award is given to an officer chosen by the Department Directorate team that has gone above and beyond in the 2024 Fiscal Year.

2023 Officer Of The Year:
This award is given to an officer chosen by the Department Directorate team that has gone above and beyond in the 2023 Fiscal Year.
